Francis Kiarie hails from a poor family in Nakuru, where life’s struggles left him without the care and protection every child deserves. He lacked shelter, proper support, and stability, and his family’s condition forced him to grow up in an environment of uncertainty.
When he was brought to Shiphrah Centre, Francis appeared weak but of average appearance. Though he was generally healthy, he was still taken for a medical check-up to ensure his well-being.
His parents, unable to provide due to poverty and insufficient accommodation, sought assistance through a friend who referred them to Shiphrah Centre. There, Francis found a safe space, food, and the protection that was missing at home.
