Samwel Baraka, the youngest among his siblings, was also left with his sickly grandmother after his parents separated. He arrived at Shiphrah Centre looking weak, stressed, and underfed, symptoms of neglect and poverty.
Though he did not have a demanding medical condition, Samwel’s situation reflected the urgency of intervention and care. At Shiphrah, he received the shelter, protection, and support he desperately needed to regain strength and security.
