John Njuguna

John Njuguna’s early life was marked by hardship and neglect. He was a destitute child in need of care, shelter, and protection, living without the stability every child deserves.

John was not alone in his struggle. Along with his siblings Simon Murimi and Cecelia Wairimu—he faced a life of uncertainty and vulnerability. Their family situation made it impossible for them to access proper food, medical care, or consistent protection.

Recognizing the children’s desperate need, they were referred to Shiphrah Centre. The Centre welcomed them with open arms, ensuring that the siblings could stay together while receiving the support they required.

At Shiphrah, John finally found the safety and stability he had long been missing. He was given shelter, nutritious meals, education, and emotional support. Most importantly, he and his siblings were not separated—they were able to grow together in a safe and nurturing environment.

Today, John’s story is one of hope restored. Once destitute and vulnerable, he now has the chance to heal, learn, and dream of a brighter future alongside his brother Simon and sister Cecelia.
