Jeremiah Kariuki’s childhood was marked by poverty and neglect, leaving him in great need of support, care, and protection. When he was found, Jeremiah appeared weak but stable, showing the effects of long-term lack of proper nutrition and care.
He also struggled with poor communication skills, a challenge made worse by the difficult environment he grew up in. His family, though present, was unable to provide the basic needs—food, shelter, and medical care—that every child deserves.
Recognizing his vulnerability, Jeremiah was brought to Shiphrah Centre, where he could finally receive the attention and support he needed. At the Centre, he was given proper meals, healthcare, and a safe environment to grow. He also began receiving guidance to help him improve in communication and confidence.
Today, Jeremiah is on a path of recovery. From weakness and neglect, he is now regaining strength, stability, and hope for a brighter future—thanks to the love and protection he has found at Shiphrah Centre.
