Benjamine Musyoki Mwalale

Benjamine Musyoki Mwalale’s life was turned upside down by tragedy. After the death of his mother, he and his siblings were left orphaned, with no one to provide the love and protection they desperately needed.

When he was found, Benjamine appeared stressed and confused, the pain of loss written across his young face. He also suffered from sick eyes, a clear sign of poor health and neglect. Without guidance or stability, his future looked uncertain.

Recognizing their vulnerability, the Chief of Kamuongo Sub-location, Kyuso, intervened and referred Benjamine and his siblings—Jane Wambui Mwalale, Victor Kimani Mwalale, and Grace Njeri Mwalale—to receive proper care and protection.

At Shiphrah Centre, Benjamine and his siblings were welcomed with compassion. They received medical care, emotional support, and a safe home where they could begin to heal from the trauma of losing their mother. Surrounded by stability and love, they started the journey of rebuilding their lives. Today, Benjamine’s story, together with that of his siblings, is one of hope after loss. Though orphaned and once without direction, they now have a place where their needs are met, their dignity is restored, and their dreams for a brighter future can begin to grow.
