Onesmus Ndichu came to the world as a newborn in need of love and care. Although he was healthy at birth, his situation quickly became critical as his young mother was neither ready nor willing to take care of him.
Recognizing the risks, Onesmus was taken to Mutuini Hospital, where he received a full medical check-up and the necessary immunizations to safeguard his health. Despite his stability, it was clear that he lacked the nurturing environment every child deserves.
With no capacity for parental care, his mother sought help, and Onesmus was entrusted to Shiphrah Centre. At the Centre, he was assured of shelter, care, and protection, giving him the chance to grow in safety and dignity.
