Jayden Kamau

At only nine months old, Jayden Kamau was found in a heartbreaking condition. He appeared weak and underfed, his tiny body covered with rashes and injuries. His fragile skin bore painful marks, and even his fingers showed bite wounds, a sign of the severe neglect he had endured.

Jayden’s mother, struggling with mental illness, was unable to provide him with the care and protection he desperately needed. His case was identified as urgent, requiring immediate medical attention and shelter to save his life.

Police officers intervened to ensure his safety and, together with his siblings—Brandon Njoroge and Sarah Yvonne Wacera—Jayden was placed at Mary Faith Children’s Centre after being rescued. There, he received medical treatment, nutritious food, and round-the-clock care, giving him a chance to survive and heal.

Though his first months of life were marked by pain and neglect, Jayden was given a lifeline through rescue and compassionate intervention. With his siblings by his side, he began a new chapter—one filled with hope, healing, and the promise of a brighter future.
