Ann Wambui was brought to Shiphrah Centre together with her siblings after being abandoned by their parents. She appeared disturbed and stressed, her young face marked by the weight of neglect.
Ann was also malnourished, requiring medical attention to stabilize her condition. Their mother had initially sought help at the Centre after suffering abuse from her husband, but later left the children behind.
Ann has since found care, protection, and the assurance of stability at Shiphrah, even as the police continue their pursuit of her mother.
